Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has introduced Vibes – a new feed within the Meta AI app that features only AI-generated videos from artists and creators. The content ranges from funny clips, like a dad trying to calculate a lunch tip, to quirky scenes such as kittens baking or Egyptian princesses taking selfies.
Vibes will initially be available in the US and over 40 other countries, but not in the UK. Users can create their own videos or remix existing ones. Despite its creative potential, the flood of AI content has also been criticized as “AI slop,” meaning mass-produced, low-quality material.
