Swedish AI startup Intric has secured 3.8 million euros in a pre-seed funding round to expand its sovereign artificial intelligence platform. Tailored specifically for the European public sector and highly regulated industries, the platform allows organizations to build and deploy custom AI agents without compromising data security, compliance, or digital sovereignty.
Led by venture capital firm byFounders, the investment highlights a growing geopolitical demand for independent, European-made AI solutions. Intric’s platform, developed entirely in Sweden, is already trusted by over 60 organizations across the Nordics and Germany, safely powering more than 5,000 AI assistants.
This fresh capital will fuel the growth of Intric’s engineering teams, enabling the company to scale its secure AI offerings for complex institutional environments and accelerate its expansion into new European markets.
