Munich-based Agile Robots has entered into a strategic partnership with Google DeepMind to further advance AI-powered robotics. As part of the collaboration, DeepMind’s “Gemini Robotics” foundation models will be integrated into Agile Robots’ systems. At the same time, real-world robot data will provide valuable input to improve the AI models.
The plan is to test and deploy these technologies across industries such as electronics, automotive, data centers, and logistics. Agile Robots, which already has over 20,000 robotic systems in operation, aims to accelerate the scaling of intelligent automation. The agreement reflects a broader trend of robotics companies partnering with leading AI providers to drive the development of autonomous, data-driven industrial robots.
