A recent global HP survey of nearly 20,000 office workers suggests that AI is having a positive impact on the UK job market. According to the report, 46% of employees said AI has had a positive effect on their lives. Meanwhile, the use of employer-provided AI tools has risen from 38% to 52% in just one year.
Six in ten UK business leaders say AI has created new jobs or entire teams. Another 19% expect this to happen within the next two years. Only 10% see AI as a way to cut jobs. Nevertheless, many workers still fear being replaced and worry about potential gaps in their own skills.
