Anthropic launches a new app store for Claude

On March 6, Anthropic launched the „Claude Marketplace,“ an app store dedicated to Claude-powered tools. This platform allows businesses to spend their existing Claude credits on third-party AI plugins built on the Claude ecosystem. Early partners include Snowflake, GitLab, Replit, and Harvey AI.

Each tool functions as a SaaS offering; for instance, a company could subscribe to a document review or data analysis assistant that runs entirely on Claude in the background. Anthropic notes that this simplifies procurement, enabling companies to invest in ready-to-use apps rather than just raw API credits. This app store approach encourages developers to integrate Claude into specialized services, ultimately expanding Anthropic’s ecosystem by packaging AI capabilities into highly practical products.
