Microsoft is expanding its AI assistant, Copilot, with new social and personalized features. The update introduces Copilot Groups, allowing up to 32 people to chat, plan, or solve problems together. However, this feature is initially limited to US consumers. The new “Real Talk” mode gives Copilot more personality, adapting to the user’s tone and offering witty or challenging responses.
Copilot’s memory can now store personal details, which users can easily manage or delete. Microsoft is also improving the reliability of health-related queries using trusted sources and launching Mico, a lively new voice companion that adds expressiveness and a “Learn Live” tutoring mode.
