I.AI Consulting & Training

Google has challenged two European Union orders requiring the company to give AI competitors, including OpenAI, access to certain services and allow rival search engines to use its search data. The measures were introduced under the EU’s Digital Markets Act, which aims to curb the power of major technology companies and strengthen competition.

Google argues that the requirements could weaken privacy and security, particularly by exposing users’ sensitive search histories. The European Commission, however, points to safeguards it has put in place to protect personal data and security. The dispute highlights growing tensions between Google and EU regulators.
