I.AI Consulting & Training

At the Competitive Europe Summit in Brussels, Kent Walker, Google’s President of Global Affairs, called on the EU to accelerate its use of artificial intelligence, warning that Europe is falling behind China. While 83% of Chinese companies already use generative AI, only 14% of EU businesses do – mainly due to complex regulations.

Walker proposed a three-part strategy: smarter regulation, workforce upskilling, and broader application of innovation, with a focus on the real-world impact of AI. Google highlighted its strong presence in Europe and urged bold action to secure prosperity, competitiveness, and technological leadership for the continent.
