Microsoft has introduced new AI-powered cybersecurity tools designed to help organizations detect, assess, and fix security vulnerabilities faster. The launch includes MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, an AI model specialized in vulnerability analysis that is integrated into the MDASH security platform with multiple AI agents. According to Microsoft, the system outperforms competing models in security benchmarks while also reducing costs.
The company also unveiled Project Perception, an AI agent-based platform that identifies risks, analyzes threats, and recommends countermeasures. The launch comes amid a rise in AI-driven cyberattacks and growing challenges around the secure deployment of autonomous security systems.
