Google is expanding its AI-powered learning features in Google Search and Gemini. Users can now create interactive visualizations, customized quizzes and simulations to better understand complex topics. Google Search can also analyze uploaded notes, PDFs and presentations and turn them into concise study materials.
A new “Lens feature” uses photos of assignments to explain concepts, identify mistakes and provide targeted guidance. In Gemini, users can create multi-step research reports that continue running in the background. The results can later be discussed using voice input. Google is also introducing a platform with study notes, flashcards and practice quizzes, further strengthening Gemini as a digital learning assistant.
