OECD Report on Artificial Intelligence in Germany

Assessment and Recommendations for Germany’s AI Ecosystem.

Germany has strong capabilities in AI research and follows a human-centered approach, yet faces challenges in scaling AI adoption across the economy and addressing gender inequality.
The report recommends updating the national AI strategy, strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and leveraging AI to address key challenges such as the energy transition, efficiency in public administration and industry, and healthcare.
Improvements are needed in data access and use (particularly in healthcare), as well as in expanding the talent pool through better training and greater participation of women in AI-related fields.
