Venture capitalist Vinod Khosla, an early backer of OpenAI, predicts that robotics will experience a breakthrough similar to ChatGPT within the next two to three years. He envisions humanoid robots handling everyday tasks like chopping vegetables or washing dishes – for just £230 to £307 per month.
Currently, many robots, especially those from China, still struggle to adapt to new environments and lack true learning capabilities. However, Khosla believes this will soon change. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang sees robotics and physical AI as a trillion-dollar market, and Amazon is also ramping up investments in AI and robotics.
