Pentagon awards $800 Million AI contracts to tech giants
The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded AI contracts worth up to $800 million to four major tech companies: Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Elon Musk’s xAI. Each company can receive up to $200 million in project funding.
