Data theft allegations against Chinese competitors
U.S. AI company Anthropic has accused three Chinese AI firms, DeepSeek, Moonshot AI, and MiniMax, of illegally using its Claude chatbot. The firms allegedly improved their own models through a process called “distillation.”
