Google is reportedly working on a fresh new look for its Gemini AI app to make it more visually appealing. Instead of the current chatbot-style interface, the update could introduce a scrollable feed with creative prompt suggestions and eye-catching images. Features like “Create Image” or “Deep Research” have been moved further up the screen. The new prompts showcase fun and creative ways to use the app – like transforming photos or turning drawings into stories.
Although there’s no official announcement yet, the update could help Google better compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT and build on the momentum of its image AI model “Nano Banana,” which briefly pushed Gemini to No. 1 on the U.S. App Store.
