Minister wants AI institute to focus on security
UK Technology Minister Peter Kyle has called for a major reform of the Alan Turing Institute (ATI). He wants the institute to place a stronger emphasis on defence, national security, and control over the UK’s own AI technologies — what he refers to as „sovereign capabilities.“
